Hospital Overview

Formerly St. Vincent's Hospital, St. Vincent's Birmingham is a staple in the Birmingham community with more than 100 years of service. It has been ranked among the 100 most wired healthcare facilities by Hospitals and Health Networks magazine six times since 1999.

Aside from being known as "Where Babies Come From," the hospital constantly seeks out the most advanced technologies, including being home to the TomoTherapy Hi-Art System, one of the world’s most powerful radiation treatment options in the battle against cancer.

St. Vincent's Health System is made up of five facilities: St. Vincent's Birmingham, St. Vincent’s Blount, St. Vincent’s East, St. Vincent's St. Clair, and One Nineteen Health and Wellness. We are a healthcare family serving four counties and sharing core beliefs in caring, community, and Jesus Christ. Together, we are dedicated to spiritually centered, holistic care that sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities.
